My religion - list the ones with the most staying power

Not about which is the most reasonable ( they are all "beyond reason" a  bit  and we would spend all day blogging on the subject of unreasonable propositions in religion  ) Speculate here on what keeps the various religions in suspension.

My religion - Eat drink and be merry

I'm not all that familair with this one . Seems like you get indigestion  and the thrill doesn't last so its place as a religion may not be very significant ( religions have to have staying power ?)

Philosophers have always put this one in so i guess it should be here . Why is it valid? You tell us

My religion -War on everything

Not a long term option for many,  though its easy to think yourself there . Its often really about your attitude to yourself ,  and if you can get that fixed,  the world seems a better place to find work in ( rather than reject the past - cf evolutin 's dismissal of the past )
Who wants to be known for their arrogance ( or in "evolutin" case - their optimism postponed ) . Essential to recognise your own limitations and those of the world and the people around  if you are going to live and work ( building process ) here?

My religion - My kitchen rules

Its all about me and that's the summary . Even though my creator made my creativity possible,  I focus on the icing I put on the cake . I'm not very good at educating because I want you to admire my creativity and not think too deeply beyond that . The fact that you too can cook as well as me if you know how to place and keep fat and sugar is not discuused . A bit like backyard blitz or some primitive religion its better if you think I know than you know . Fear of fat and sugar is to my advantage to cultivate in you.

The other person needs this and would like this . We or the government ( Iam nromally paid to do this as  a "public servant ") will provide what you need and will surprise you with our brilliance . As post christain heretics we know these 2 half truth's  "that you can't be totally objective  about your real needs" but "need to be to be sustainable " but use them to devise our own theology which is a version of God's.  We know what you would like and, like God does, we  find it very hard to help you if you don't listen and let us take charge  . Its easier our way -----believe me
